Family Fridays: Nature Matters
Berkshire Botanical Garden
Jen Leahey presents "Nature Matters," home to a diverse collection of animal educators, on Aug. 18, at 11 a.m. Many of these animals found their way there because they were unable to survive in the wild due to an injury or they were born in captivity and never learned how to fend for themselves. These animals are on the borderline; they are not pets, but they are also no longer able to be wild. They need a place to be cared for in order to survive. This program will explore our relationships and responsibilities with animals, both wild and domestic pet species.
