Spring Equinox Meditation Gathering
Berkshire Botanical Garden
With the turning of Spring, we have the energies of this season to inspire the beginnings of new growth in us. As we prepare the soil of our experiences to plant seeds for the future, join us on Saturday, March 23, from 5 to 6 p.m. for this community meditation gathering facilitated by our meditation-in-nature guide Sandrine Harris. This meditation will take place outside in the gardens, with a mix of walking, conversation, guided practices, and time to reflect as we move out of winter's hibernatory energy. Note: No meditation experience is needed to join us, and we will not be in a single, hour-long guided meditation. There will be pauses, walking (optional), sitting, and conversation. All adults (18+ yrs) are welcome to join us via advance registration.
Sandrine Harris is a trauma-sensitive mindfulness meditation facilitator with a deep interest in sensing our connection within the natural world. She offers a connective and unfolding process within the Berkshires through regular community programs at The Trustees’ properties, Berkshire Natural Resources Council properties, and the Berkshire Botanical Garden. Sandrine is also a somatic (body-centered) practitioner offering private sessions to process trauma and chronic pain, and workshops/trainings internationally. She is based in the southern Berkshires, and is nourished by meditative experiences outdoors. Her process is collectively known as Emergent Nature.
