Arranging Dried Flowers

When:
Saturday, November 9, 2024
Where:

Berkshire Botanical Garden

Join Rebecca O’Donnell of The Quiet Botanist for a morning of flower arranging on Saturday, Nov. 9, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Participants will be introduced to a selection of dried and foraged flowers, the necessary tools for harvesting and arranging, as well as drying basics. Each participant will make a medium-to-large bouquet using dried flowers of their choosing. Come with your questions; this intimate workshop will be about conversation and learning from one another – and surprising yourself, too! Bouquets will be hand-tied and wrapped for traveling convenience. However, you’re welcome to bring in your own vase and fill it here during the class. All levels are welcome!

Originally from Sydney, Australia, Rebecca O'Donnell, a New York-based, award-winning creative director, created The Quiet Botanist in Hudson, N.Y., out of a desire to slow down and be surrounded by beauty and the freedom to create every day. Rebecca has always been a nature lover and constant gardener, The store was a place for her to heal from her chronic Lyme disease. This created a need to live a slower and more calming life to heal or to live "the quiet life." For more information, visit thequietbotanist.com
