Display Gardens & Visitor Center
• The Garden is open April 29 through Oct. 31, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Plan your visit!
Berkshire Botanical Garden is along the Berkshire Regional Transit Authority's bus route. Take a bus here! Here is the bus schedule.
NOTE: For the month of October, admission is "pay-as-you-wish."
• The Leonhardt Galleries will remain open through Dec. 2, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., weekdays only.
PLEASE NOTE: Animals are not permitted on the grounds (except for registered service animals).
Accessibility: Berkshire Botanical Garden’s 24 acres are generally wheelchair friendly with paths through many parts of the Garden, in addition to manicured lawns throughout many other areas. The terrain is variable, and some gardens are only accessible by stone steps, although these areas are viewable from multiple points. Seating is available throughout the Garden. Many of our paths are accessible for people with disabilities. Wheelchairs are available with advanced reservation by calling 413-320-4794.
Visiting information: Access and admission to the Garden is obtained through the Visitor Center, which also offers snacks, cold beverages, as well as gifts, garden-related items and souvenirs. Again, while the Garden often has farm animals on site when our Farm in the Garden Camp is in session, BBG is a public garden and dogs are not permitted on the grounds (with the exception of registered service animals). We welcome and encourage visitors to take their time at the Garden. Please do not leave children unattended. Tables and benches are located throughout the property for picnics. Trash/recycling stations are located at the Education Center, Visitor Center, and near the Center House. Please, no smoking on the grounds.
Guided Public Tours
Guided public tours are scheduled at 11 a.m. once each day from June 1 through September. No tour on July 4.
