The Quieting: A Meditation Gathering to Welcome Winter’s Energy

When:
Saturday, December 7, 2024
Where:

Berkshire Botantical Garden

Led by mindfulness-in-nature facilitator Sandrine Harris, students will gather by candlelight at sunset for this nourishing process of quiet, guided meditation on Saturday, Dec. 7, from 4 to 5 p.m. Moments of dynamic talking, poetry, and listening are balanced with deep quiet and inner celebration of the gift of slowing down for deep winter.

Sandrine Harris is a trauma-sensitive mindfulness meditation facilitator with a deep interest in sensing our connection within the natural world. She offers a connective and unfolding process within the Berkshires through regular community programs at The Trustees’ properties, Berkshire Natural Resources Council properties, and the Berkshire Botanical Garden. Sandrine is also a somatic (body-centered) practitioner offering private sessions to process trauma and chronic pain, and workshops/trainings internationally. She is based in the southern Berkshires and is nourished by meditative experiences outdoors. Her process is collectively known as Emergent Nature.
